RT @GTOKLAHOMA: For the first time since 1985 and “Silverado” I’m attending a movie at #route66 icon the Tee Pee Drive In in Sapulpa, OK. Last time I was here, my grandpa was too cheap to let us go to the concession so we brought our own newly released Cherry Coke and okra fried at home. https://t.co/ef2eHlFPdj

@Sherryburger16 Let me be clear: any opportunity I have to tell Oklahomans to keep their sales tax dollars in Oklahoma so we can support our small businesses and towns, I will. I’ve been doing it daily for almost four years.

Since the 30’s, Hugo has been a winter HQ for traveling circuses. Marked by 🐘 topped monuments, the Showmen’s Rest section in Hugo’s Mount Olivet Cemetery holds tributes to “all showmen under God’s big top,” from animal trainers to jugglers to high wire artists. #TravelOK https://t.co/besSqjo1RA

@Okiewrestler @tulsaworld 4 staff members vet and sign off on expenditures before anything comes to a Sec (Project manager, to division director, to finance (CFO) director, to Executive Director, then Sec. I had no reason to believe that after 4 internal staff members approved that anything was improper.
October 16, 2022 at 04:14PM
@Okiewrestler @tulsaworld I don’t review or sign off on contracts as Sec of Tourism- so no involvement. That is the ED only. I’m asking the Legislature to reinstate the authority of the Tourism Commission (currently advisory role only since 2017) so we can review and sign off on contracts.
